Students are introduced to the basics of high and & low pressure airbag systems. Topics include bag construction, system set up, capabilities & limitations, safe operating techniques and developing an understanding of rated capacity and the diminishing power curve. During the practical evolutions students will rotate through scenarios involving vehicles, concrete blocks, concrete cylinders, & weighted containers, performing various lifts in conjunction with cribbing. Instructors will explain & demonstrate dynamic techniques used to maximize rated capacity, and perform lifts in a safe and effective manner.
